Sources of Carbon Emissions and Natural Sinks

The chart shows sources of carbon sources and sinks. Sources are processes that release CO2 into the atmosphere. Sinks are processes that naturally take CO2 out of the atmosphere. Study the image closely. What do you notice? What do you wonder?

  2. Write down or share what you notice and wonder about sources and sinks of carbon dioxide.
